Hi all,
This weekend of 10/3-10/4 of 2020 was a very memorable weekend. We had our first COVID camp! The campout took place at Mr. Friedrich’s backyard and we did Trail to First Class requirements. The campout was very fun and each grubmaster did a good job with the food. At the campout we did lashings, first aid, and woodcutting. It was a great way for younger scouts to get requirements finished. We planned a hike but unfortunately due to the air quality we could not. Settling at the Campsite was easy and Lunch was good. After the dinner of the first night we played Mafia by the campfire. When we slept, you could hear coyotes, which was cool. To explain how we social distanced at the camp, we had to wear masks and stay a distance apart. Also, no two people could share a tent together. This first campout was a success and I would like to thank Mr. Friedrich for hosting the campout, and Mr. Lattie and Mr. Hinz coordinating and supervising throughout the campout. Also thank you to Nolan for leading the patrols and activities.
